Ana Seixas is a Portuguese illustrator and ceramicist known for color, bold shapes, quirky characters and a general love of having fun. Born in Viseu in 1984, she studied Design at the University of Aveiro, followed by a postgraduate degree in Editorial Design at Bau, Escola Superior de Disseny in Barcelona, and a specialization course in illustration for children's and young adult publications at Eina, Escola d'Art i Disseny. Since 2012 she has split her time between illustration commissions — for magazines, children's books, advertising campaigns, games and packaging, a selection of which you can see [here](https://www.anaseixas.com/illustration-work) — and her own print editions, illustrated goodies and ceramic pieces, sold through her [online shop](https://shop.anaseixas.com/). In 2020 she opened a [brick-and-mortar shop in the heart of Porto](https://www.anaseixas.com/shop-studio), bringing that online shop into a physical space where she can create and show her work under one roof. She now runs it with a small team who help manage stock and produce the ceramic pieces.
