Ana Martins, aka Aheneah, is a Portuguese artist and designer that explores the combination of digital and analog processes to create her unique works, renowned as cross-stitch street art. With a background in graphic design and influences from her grandmother’s embroidery teachings, she seeks to ‘deconstruct, decontextualize and transform a traditional technique into a modern graphic, connecting cultures and generations.’ Originally and colorfully Aheneah managed to connect two distant generations, and all through a thread.
